What is Vacuum cooking?
It is a new age technology wherein food is placed in a vacuum chamber with minimum oil at a low temperature. Air pressure, low temperature and little amount of oil together cook the food leading to minimal absorption of oil in food as compared to oil-soaked deep fried chips.
The technique uses 70% less oil as compared to the deep frying method which reduces fat absorption in the body which in turn reduces the deposition of bad cholesterol.
